We
usually directly negative someone when we have different opinions.
We always say "I don't agree with you", or
"You're wrong!" It may create problems and unhappy for each other. This
news tell us that there is no absolute right or wrong, just you stand on
different side. If you want to be less direct,
you can agree about something first, like "Although you're right about that...", "I
agree with that, but...", and "I understand what you're saying,
but..." If
there's no chance of agreement, this phrase can help stop a long argument : "We'll have to agree to disagree."
In her speech , she said “Grit is passion and perseverance for very long-term goals. Grit is sticking with your future, day in, day
out,not just
for the week, not just for the month, but for years, and working really hard to make that future a
reality.
I think that if you don’t have passion , you
couldn’t keep continue to do so. And then ,you won’t be success. In my school life, I am not a smart student. If I want a great grade , I must study hard.Study hard is the only way I can do.
In this speech, my favorite sentence is “Grit is living life like it's a marathon, not a sprint.”
I like her metaphor. Grit is the long
way to do.Successbelong to the persevering.
Smith said: “This is one of the highlights of my career. I am honoured to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song. I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations. I hope you all enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it.”
Smith told BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw that he recorded the track in January 2015. "I got called into the office with Barbara Broccoli and Sam Mendes and they gave me the script, I read the script... they said 'have a go at the song'" Smith disclosed. "It's the quickest I've ever written a song - it took 20 minutes... and they loved it!"
